Description
1860 25C AU53 NGC. A nice, scarcer date, milky-white patinated Seated Quarter from the eve of the Civil War. The left obverse stars are flatly struck, with a good strike elsewhere. The surfaces are better than expected for a coin with some light circulation, with a tiny scratch at 9 o'clock on the obverse border mentioned only for accuracy.
