Description

1860-S Quarter Dollar, VF20
OGH PCGS Holder

1860-S 25C VF20 PCGS. Briggs 1-A. Smooth, minimally marked surfaces and desirable light, golden-gray toning hallmark the exceptionally well-preserved surfaces of this rare San Francisco quarter. With perhaps only one exception, the 1860-S is nonexistent in Mint State grades and most survivors are in lower circulated grades. This example is well-defined for the VF20 level and most abrasions have long since succumbed to honest circulation wear. The 1860-S is a prize in any grade and this coin is a winner in every aspect of its grade level. PCGS Population: 6 in 20, 40 finer (2/26).(Registry values: P8)
