    1861 25C MS64 NGC. Type Two Reverse. The mintage of the 1861 Philadelphia quarter was about eight times greater than its 1860 predecessor, mostly because bullion imports were significantly larger in 1861. The present lustrous near-Gem has faint straw-gold toning, a sharp strike, and splendidly smooth surfaces.(Registry values: P2)
