Description
1865 25C AU 58 NGC. With an original mintage of only 58,800 business strikes and widespread melting during the Civil War, the 1865 quarter is an elusive coin in all grades. This near-Mint example shows relatively smooth surfaces beneath rich antique-gray toning.
