Description

1866-S 25C VG 10 SEGS. Briggs 1-A, the only known dies. Heavily worn across both sides, this unfortunate specimen displays scant rims and weakly outlined features. The surfaces are, however, quite smooth for the low circulated grade and are free of bothersome distractions. Evenly toned in golden-gray hues, this is a problem-free representation of this challenging S-mint issue.
