Not Sold Description
1868 MS 64 PCGS. One of just 29,400 pieces minted and, like all of the early Motto quarters, a rare issue in mint state. This piece is completely brilliant with exceptional, bright mint frost and a semi-prooflike finish in the fields. Fully struck, the only mark of note is a small one above the crook in the eagle's left wing. One of the finest examples known of this scarce issue. Population: 4 in 64, only 3 finer.
