Description
1868-S MS 60 Cleaned, Retoned. An extremely scarce Seated quarter, far more difficult than its modest mintage of 96,000 pieces would suggest, and a rarity at the uncirculated level. This piece is anything but pretty, being dulled by the aforementioned cleaning and framed in unnatural violet and steel-blue shades. Perhaps this uncertifiable example will prove to be a buying opportunity for the Seated quarter specialist.
