1869-S MS 65 NGC. A scarce, low mintage issue, this date is prohibitively rare in mint state. There is medium steel-gray and russet obverse toning, and the reverse has mottled russet toning. There is ample original luster with the obverse showing some spotting. There have been only six coins certified in mint state by NGC and PCGS.
