Description

1871-CC Quarter, Good 6
Collector-Grade Example

1871-CC 25C Good 6 PCGS. The earliest issues from the Carson City Mint are some of the biggest key dates in the Seated Liberty quarter series. The 1871-CC had a mintage of only 10,890 pieces, and is seldom seen in any grade. This well-circulated example offers the enthusiast a moderately affordable example that retains strong borders and boldly outlined devices. The surfaces are nickel-gray with bluish accents in the fields. Some old marks on the reverse are not out of line for the grade. Population: 6 in 6, 33 finer (1/25).
