    1871-S 25C Fine 12 NGC. Briggs 1-A. Pearl-gray devices and fields contrast with dusky tan toning near the rims. Circulation damage is not present. A worthy example of this scarce issue. Only 30,900 pieces were struck, the lowest Motto S-mint production except for the 1866-S. As a result, the 1871-S is sought in all circulated grades by Seated specialists.(Registry values: P6)
