Description

1872 25C MS63 NGC. More difficult to locate than its mintage of 182,000 would imply, as many were probably melted in the 1873 silver melt. Splashes of purple and electric-blue are more prominent on the obverse of this Select quarter. Lustrous surfaces exhibit sharply struck devices, and reveal a few minor grade-defining handling marks.
