Premium Gem 1872 Seated Quarter
Only One Finer
1872 25C MS66 NGC. An extraordinary example of this
difficult Seated Quarter. The underlying surfaces are satiny and
exceptionally smooth beneath a significant overlay of sea-green,
pinkish-red, and antique-golden toning at the borders. As-made
diagonal die lines appear near the bottom of the reverse. Truly
mesmerizing quality that would be all but impossible to duplicate.
