1873 25C Closed 3 VG10 NGC. This issue was struck early in the year, and many examples are presumed melted in the wake of changes in Mint law. Gold, rose, and violet accents grace light gray surfaces that show scattered marks and pinscratches. The letters of LIBERTY are weak but readable.(Registry values: P4)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23UU, PCGS# 5484, GSID# 5144)
