Description

Rare 1873-CC Arrows Quarter, Good 6

1873-CC 25C Arrows Good 6 PCGS. A meager mintage of 12,462 pieces only begins to explain the rarity of the 1873-CC Arrows, since there were no collectors in the Old West, and none were set aside except as a store of value. PCGS has certified only three pieces in grades above XF45. The present coin displays five letters in LIBERTY. The central reverse has a few hair-thin marks, and a faint granular streak crosses Liberty's waist.(Registry values: P9)
