Popular Premium Gem 1874-S Arrows Quarter
1874-S 25C Arrows MS66 PCGS. Despite a meager mintage of 392,000 pieces, a number of high-end survivors for this issue have come down to the present day, though Premium Gem and better coins remain elusive. This well struck piece has a generally silver-white obverse with only suggestions of the gold and tan toning that dominates the reverse. PCGS has graded only one finer example for the issue (12/08).(Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23VY, PCGS# 5495, GSID# 5210)
