1874-S Arrows Quarter, MS66
A Splendid, Thickly Lustrous Type Coin
1874-S 25C Arrows MS66 PCGS. Fortunately for type collectors
a small hoard of 1874-S quarters was uncovered thirty or so years
ago. The coins were uniformly high quality, and this is undoubtedly
one of those pieces. The surfaces display the usual thick mint
frost which is apparent even through the light golden-olive toning
that is seen over each side. The devices are sharply defined
throughout, and there are no mentionable marks. Population: 33 in
66, 1 finer (3/10).From The Good Harbour Bay Collection.(Registry values: P3)
