1875-S 25C MS62 NGC. Well struck and lustrous, with pale steel-blue and speckled tan coloration over both sides. Free of distracting marks, with slightly subdued luster that seemingly limits the grade. A scarce, lower-mintage issue with a total business strike mintage of just 680,000 pieces. Census: 14 in 62, 38 finer (7/08).Ex: Stack's (1/1987), lot 209.
