1875-S MS 63 PCGS. Pleasant luster with no underlying patina, the reverse is quite dazzling, and includes a significant die break around much of the periphery. QUAR DOL. is subsequently weak. Unfortunately, a scratch of some length crosses the shoulders of Liberty, and nearly collides with the fifth star. Otherwise, an exceptional type coin.
