Finer of Two Certified as Prooflike
1876-CC 25C MS64 ★ Prooflike NGC. Type Two Reverse. Small
CC. A stone-white and flashy near-Gem. Nicely struck and only
delicately abraded. Narrow feet on the A in STATES confirm the
reverse subtype. A prize for the advanced Carson City specialist.
NGC has certified just two examples as Prooflike, the present coin
and an MS61 (7/14).Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 85502, Base PCGS# 5502)
