    1879 Quarter, MS67
    Low-Mintage, Few Finer

1879 25C MS67 PCGS. CAC. Briggs 1-A, R-4. Described in the Briggs reference as often weakly struck at the head and with weak stars, this Superb Gem is exceptionally bold in all areas with frosted devices. Only a few microscopic marks exist, none worth special mention. Only 13,600 pieces were minted, and few are certified finer. Population: 19 in 67 (1 in 67+), 2 finer (4/14).(Registry values: P1) (NGC ID# 23VB, PCGS# 5511)
