1879 25C MS68 ★ NGC. Here it is, the single finest
NGC-graded business strike 1879 quarter. While five pieces have
attained the lofty grade of MS68 from NGC, only the present Superb
Gem also possesses a Star designation (6/09). Undoubtedly, the
coveted Star was awarded for its lovely peripheral autumn-gold,
navy-blue, and plum-red toning. Only 13,600 pieces were
