Description

1888-S MS 65 NGC. A scarcer branch mint issue in the Seated quarter series. Conditionally rare in finer grades, this example is sharply defined throughout and the surfaces appear unquestionably original. The gray-golden patina that covers both sides gives way to a light accent of blue at the margins. Excellent mint luster and really quite an attractive piece. Population: 9 in 65, 2 finer.
