Description
1839 25C No Drapery VF 20 SEGS, Briggs 1-A Die State, suitably detailed within the confines of this grade level, this piece reveals a few scattered circulation marks that inhibit its overall eye appeal; 1839 No Drapery VF 20, Briggs 2-New, the deep charcoal toning that blankets the recessed areas lightens to lavender-gray over the highpoints; 1839 No Drapery VF 30, Briggs 1-A, an area of darker toning along the left reverse rim interrupts the otherwise smooth, lilac-gray surfaces; and an 1839 No Drapery VF 30, Briggs 2-C, this is a richly toned representation of this scarce die combination. All coins are SEGS encapsulated.
