1839 25C No Drapery XF 40 SEGS, Briggs 1-C, with even dark toning and ample remaining detail, this is a pleasing representation of this newly discerned die marriage; and an 1840 XF 45 SEGS, Briggs 2-B, essentially untoned, this scarcer variety reveals numerous scattered abrasions and a rim bump on the upper obverse that are worthy of consideration.
