Description
1842-O 25C Large Date Fine 12 SEGS, Briggs 3-E Die State, this moderately toned specimen was struck from a reverse die whose peripheral die crack formed a sizeable cud at the rim below QUAR.; 1842-O Large Date VF 30, Briggs 3-E, evenly toned on the obverse in deep crimson-gray shades, the reverse carries a mottled endowment of the same color; and an 1842-O Large Date AU 55 Cleaned, Briggs 3-D, despite suitable delineation, this piece exhibits a white appearance that betrays an old cleaning. All coins are SEGS encapsulated.
