Description
1847-O 25C AU 50 SEGS, Briggs 1-A Early Die State, despite light corrosion around the reverse devices, this is an attractive, originally toned example of an O-mint Seated quarter that is prohibitively rare at the Mint State level of preservation; and an 1847-O AU 50 Cleaned SEGS, Briggs 1-B, a few heavy pinscratches and digs in the reverse field above the eagle's head accompany the numerous hairlines that mar this bright silver-gray specimen.
