Description
1858 25C XF 45 SEGS, Briggs 4-D, moderately toned in variegated shades of olive-gray, this coin is an example of the "Compass Point" reverse's last appearance within the Seated quarter series; and an 1858 AU 50 Toned SEGS, Briggs 1-A, this pleasing dove-gray specimen was struck from a shattered die that explains the numerous encircling cracks that abound on the obverse.
