Description

1877-CC 25C Good 6 "Lite Bend" SEGS, Small CC, Briggs 4-D, poorly detailed and slightly bent, this coin is, nonetheless, possessed of pleasing, original patina; 1877-CC VG 10, Briggs 5-D, full rims and deeply toned surfaces ensure that this coin is suitable for the grade; 1877-CC Fine 12, Briggs 6-F, a small dig in the right obverse field is an unfortunate companion to this coin's richly toned, sandy-gray and lavender faces; 1877/77-CC VF 25, Briggs 2-B, sizeable remnants of the underdigits are readily evident on this die variety even without magnification; 1877-CC VF 30 Old Cleaning, Briggs 5-E, scattered hairlines and a few scattered pinscratches on the reverse are still plainly visible despite this coin's slate-gray toning scheme; 1877-CC XF 45, Tripled 77, Briggs 1-A, the last two digits in the date are obviously triple punched on this lightly toned, original representation; and an 1877-CC XF 45, Briggs 3-C, deep gray-green patina blankets both sides of this nicely defined CC-mint quarter. All coins are SEGS certified.
