Description
1842 25C VF 20 Cleaned, slightly hairlined from an old cleaning, but now retoning to a chalky gray color, there is an obverse rim bruise at 1 o'clock, mentioned for accuracy; and an 1842-O Small Date VG 8 Reverse Scratched, a pleasing, moderately toned example of this popular and scarce variety, with medium gray surfaces throughout, unfortunately there is a thin diagonal scratch on the reverse that detracts from this otherwise pleasing, original coin.
