Exceptional 1866 Rays Five Cent, MS66
1866 5C Rays MS66 NGC. The 1866 is in high demand as the first year of issue and for inclusion in type sets for the With Rays design. This Premium Gem displays lustrous surfaces covered with a veneer of light golden-tan patina. A better-than-average strike sharpens the design elements, including the horizontal shield lines and star centrils, areas that are often weak. Well preserved, with no mentionable contacts or spots.
