    1873 5C Closed 3 MS65+ PCGS. CAC. The central devices are sharply detailed, although the rims are not fully squared due to a slightly incomplete strike. This high-end Gem displays semireflective fields and warm golden toning. Eye appeal is outstanding. The 1873 Closed 3 Shield nickel is scarce in this grade and rare finer. Only a handful of pieces are CAC endorsed. Population: 50 in 65 (21 in 65+), 23 finer. CAC: 9 in 65, 1 finer (3/19).(Registry values: P3)
