Conditionally Rare 1873 Open 3 Nickel, MS66
1873 5C Open 3 MS66 NGC. This is a superlative example of the 1873 Open 3 variety. Gem and Premium Gem representatives are seldom seen, and neither NGC nor PCGS has certified an example finer than the present coin (7/10). Hints of gold and rose patina accent the razor-sharp design elements. Satiny luster adds to the eye appeal.
