Description

Appealing 1876 Nickel, MS66

1876 5C MS66 PCGS. David Bowers (2006) writes that "A properly graded MS65 or finer coin, if well struck and with good eye appeal, is a rare find indeed." This description fits the bill for this Premium Gem. Its essentially untoned surfaces exhibit sharply struck devices, that on the obverse, stand out against prooflike fields. The reverse fields exhibit heavy die polish lines, and both sides are devoid of mentionable abrasions. Great overall eye appeal! Population: 8 in 66, 0 finer (8/07).(Registry values: N1793)
