1883/2 5C FS-304 MS66 PCGS. Ex: Greenbrier River Collection.
This Cherrypickers' variety shows the curved remnant of an
underlying 2 west of the primary 3 with additional repunching on
the two 8s. Reportedly, most high-grade examples of the FS-304 are
from a roll that surfaced in California several years ago. The
current coin is a gleaming Premium Gem example, highly lustrous,
with partially reflective fields and a pinpoint-sharp strike.
Attractive lilac-gray surfaces are essentially mark-free, with
