1873 5C Open 3 MS65+ PCGS. CAC. Light to medium chestnut-brown toning is present throughout, but most apparent across the obverse periphery. This lustrous Gem is nicely struck and refreshingly free from marks. Since no Open 3 proofs were produced, the variety becomes challenging to secure in exceptional quality.
