10-Ounce 1915 Panama-Pacific Silver Octagonal Replica. Silver, plain edge, octagonal, 10 oz. (314 gm) .999 fine. Replica of a 1915-S Panama-Pacific fifty dollar octagonal coin struck in silver. Dies similar to the original on both sides but with the head of Minerva a trifle less artistic, lacking an S mintmark on the reverse, 10 TROY OZ. .999 SILVER in place of FIFTY DOLLARS. Edge-stamped 0287. Beautiful Choice proof surfaces with a consistent, iridescent ring of iridescent saffron and heather through the peripheral legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA on the obverse.
