1878 Valley Forge Centennial, HK-137, MS65 Brown NGC. Bronze, 41.3 mm. Commemorates the centennial of the departure of Revolutionary War troops from Valley Forge on June 19, 1778. The obverse features a cameo portrait of Gen. Washington with "George Washington Commander In Chief" surrounding. This pristine Gem offers superlative chocolate-brown surfaces on both sides.
