1901-02 Fort Sumter Dollar, HK-292, VF. HK-292, silver-plated copper, 33 mm, 12.3 gm. The obverse depicts a palmetto tree and plantation scene inside SOUTH CAROLINA INTER-STATE AND WEST INDIAN EXPOSITION. The reverse has Fort Sumter within a wreath and CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA 1901-1902. Bright silver at the centers, with some minor marks, and deepening patina at the borders.Auction Info
