Description
1909 Hendrik Hudson Daalder, MS63 NGC. HK-373, R.6 (21 to 75 known). Bronze, 15 mm. Per the 2008 Hibler-Kappen reference only "50-100 struck." This so-called dollar was issued for the 1909 Hudson-Fulton Celebration by numismatist and coin dealer Thomas Elder. The current piece is evenly patinated although traces of original reddish coloration is observed when viewed in angled light. A nice Select Uncirculated example of this scarce issue.Auction Info
