1932 William Penn, HK-461, MS64 NGC. Silver, 38.1 mm. Issued by the William Penn Commemoration Committee in 1932 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of William Penn's arrival in America. This piece, struck in sterling silver, is at least five times scarcer than its bronze counterpart. Designed by Julio Kilenyi and struck by Whitehead and Hoag. The current medal is among the finest thus certified by NGC. Census: 2 in 64, 1 finer (8/07).Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 661050)
