1933 Pedley-Ryan, Denver, HK-825, AU58 Uncertified. Silver, "very scarce," (HK-1963). This issue technically reached circulation, since the Hibler-Kappen reference states that "some motorists were using the slugs in lieu of silver dollars at automatic filling stations." Pedley-Ryan was a Denver, Colorado precious metals investment house. The name of the firm was later changed to the Cow Gulch Oil Company.Auction Info
