1961 Pony Express Termination, HK-588, MS65 NGC. Silver, 33.3 mm. The surfaces of this piece are satiny and absent of notable marks. Burnt-orange toning gently hugs the rims on both sides, thus nicely framing the untoned central design elements. A Gem example of this popular so-called dollar.
