1961 Pony Express Termination So-Called Dollar MS66 NGC. HK-588, R.3. Silver. 33 mm. These pieces were struck at the Philadelphia Mint in commemoration of the centennial of termination of the Pony Express after completion of nationwide telegraph service. Just 3,000 of these silver pieces were minted. This brilliant and satiny silver piece has pale heather toning on both sides.
