HK-220 So-Called Dollar--Improperly Cleaned--NCS. AU Details. HK-220, Eglit-51A. Bronze, high relief, 35 mm. Incorrectly attributed as HK-156 on the NGC insert. This is the Liberty Head dollar by Wilhelm Mayer of Stuttgart, Germany. Signs of the cleaning mentioned by NGC are negligible--and even debatable--but four small reverse rim cuts are noted for the sake of full disclosure. Overall, a net grade of AU is appropriate.Auction Info
