Description

George V 10-Piece Proof Set 1923, South Africa mint. KM-PS1. Mintage: 655 sets. A classic set of copper, silver and gold proofs issues (1/4 penny, 1/2 penny, penny, 3 pence, 6 pence, shilling, florin, 1/2 crown, 1/2 sovereign, sovereign), accompanied with the original long box of issue that is gold stamped: FIRST COINAGE OF SOUTH AFRICA MINT / PRETORIA / 1923. Each coin is heavily toned from decades of box storage, with only minor signs of handling here and there.
