Description
Conditionally Rare 1892 "Double Shaft" Pond
Republic gold "Double Shaft" Pond 1892 MS64 NGC, Berlin
mint, KM10.1, Hern-Z44. Double-shaft variety. An unapologetic
near-Gem residing in the top 5% of the combined certified
populations across the two graders, and the finest we have offered
since September 2015. A notable flash is unleashed at the turn of
the wrist, giving way to subtle swirling luster across the fields,
admitting few distractions in the fields, all rather
inconsequential as a whole. A promising opportunity for the
discerning collector, as the certified populations drop off the
cliff in any higher technical designations than this. From the Gatsby Collection
