Ferdinand VII "De Vellon" 20 Reales 1823 B-SP MS62 NGC, Barcelona mint, KM563.1, Cal-1146. A popular Spanish sub-series within the Ferdinand VII reign, generally prized in higher grades. The surfaces are quite commendable for a near-Choice assignment, showing ample satin frost and a delightful light patina. Perhaps held back by some high point softness, this is an excellent example of the type regardless.
