    Description

    1916 Quarter, XF45 Details
    Key to the Series

1916 25C -- Cleaned -- ANACS. XF45 Details. The 1916 Standing Liberty quarter, from a mintage of 52,000 pieces, is a popular key date, and examples in any grade are prized by collectors. In fact, examples with light or moderate impairments are quite collectible. Both sides of this XF45 Details coin are retoning light golden-brown and lavender, and the design elements are appropriately defined. The only marks worthy of note occur over the O in GOD and between star 1 and the eagle's wing. These are not serious, and are mentioned only as possible pedigree markers.
From the collection of Donald E. Bently, sold for the benefit of the Bently Foundation.(Registry values: N2998) (NGC ID# 242Y, PCGS# 5704)
