Description
1916 Standing Liberty Quarter, Fine 15
1916 25C Fine 15 PCGS. The first year 1916 Standing Liberty quarter had a minuscule mintage of just 52,000 pieces. Naturally it has become the series' key date at all grade levels, and even lower-level circulated coins are desirable. This piece seems original and unimpaired, with attractive light toning on each side. Moderately worn, with slighter better details on the reverse, where a faint pinscratch is noted from the eagle's upper left (facing) wing to PL in PLURIBUS.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242Y, PCGS# 5704, GSID# 5533)
