Attractive XF Details 1916 Quarter
1916 25C --Improperly Cleaned--NGC. XF Details. This coin just barely deserves a Details grade. Yes, it does show evidence of light cleaning, but it must have been shortly after minting. The surfaces have taken on a light gray patina, but more importantly there are scattered specks of russet around the devices, the kind of color that takes decades to accrue on a coin.
